Tragedy continues to haunt violence-torn Winnipeg family
WINNIPEG -- Whenever the phone rings in Johann Leitgeb's home, it is a poignant reminder of the violence that has been visited upon his family.Two weeks ago, Mr. Leitgeb's daughter, Magdalena Labossière, and her husband Joël were found dead in their suburban Winnipeg home, shot execution-style at close range. Mr. Leitgeb's one-year-old granddaughter, Gabrielle, was sleeping in her crib that night when police say intruders entered the house and killed her parents, but she was left unharmed.
