Zowee, Batman! Take that, Peanuts!
VANCOUVER -- If someone had told Canadian graphic novelist Seth, back when he was starting out, that he would one day collaborate with master cartoonist Art Spiegelman to curate part of a show at an art museum; that he and Spiegelman would debate intensely in their collaboration; and that the end result of those fierce deliberations would be that Seth's idol, Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, would be left out of the show, Seth would have been floored. Add the fact that video games - of which Seth is hardly a fan - would be part of the larger exhibition, and it all adds up to an unexpected punchline.
