The G8 is all talk on emissions, which suits Ottawa fine

A neat juxtaposition illustrated the contradictions of this week's Group of Eight meeting in Japan.A photograph sent around the world showed the leaders planting trees, good for their green images back home. But at the same time, the leaders asked - as big importers, mostly, they could only ask - for more oil to be pumped in order to take pressure off prices.
