One of the earliest films made by British master director Alfred Hitchcock was saved from almost certain destruction by a New Zealand projectionist who collected prints and squirreled them away in his garden shed decades ago. Today, his treasure trove is being restored at the studio that produced the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
