Café de Flore The new film from the Quebec director Jean-Marc Vallée (who broke into international attention with 2005's C.R.A.Z.Y.) is said to be "a mystical and supernatural odyssey on love." Regardless, it's possibly the biggest film of the year in the Quebec film business from a major talent.

Hard Core Logo II Filmmaker Bruce McDonald resurrects the Hard Core Logo moniker for this look at rocker Care Failure of the band Die Mannequin, who McDonald follows to a remote recording studio. Warning: Anyone over the age of 20 will likely find Care's heightened sense of self a little grating. But given McDonald's past footage of her, at least the photograph will likely be worth the ticket price.
