If the British comedic collective Monty Python taught us anything, it was that anything could be funny, even a dead parrot. A Liar's Autobiography – The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman is a colourful, animated 3-D sketch of the life of the late Python, Graham Chapman. He was a black, pipe-smoking, homosexual, name-dropping alcoholic – except that he wasn't black. The fanciful memoir uses an array of animation styles to keep things interesting. While a must-see for the Python fanatics, even with four-fifths of the surviving troupe members involved on the film, it's just not at the level of funny or absurdity most would want.
