Matthew McConaughey, famous for spending 98 per cent of his free time shirtless (and also for acting, I guess), has been a romcom staple since his big-screen breakout as a skeazy stoner in Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused. Lately, however, he’s been proving his acting chops in multiple movies, including The Paperboy, which has its TIFF premiere on Friday. If you see him, try to play to his southern charm. But be careful – things can get weird fast.
WHAT TO SAY:
“What are romcoms going to do without you?”
“All right, all right, all right!”
WHAT NOT TO SAY:
“It’s funny, because the thing I ALSO love about high-school girls is that I get older and they stay the same age.”
“My wife wants to know if you’ll come over to our house later and take your shirt off.”
