film review

A disagreement sends a couple on separate and unexpected adventures over the course of a weekend. Tim and his friends seek clues to a mystery while Lee searches for answers to the bigger questions of marriage and parenthood.

It's hard to tell from the trailer what this film is about, though a positive review at Sundance from one of the trades described the eager comic drama as a "lovely slice of everything and nothing, disguised as a murder mystery."

We do know that capable director Joe Swanberg assembled no less a cast than Jake Johnson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Orlando Bloom, Brie Larson, Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick and Mike Birbiglia for a story about a husband and wife and their separate weekend escapades. (Carlton Cinema)
