Estimates for Kate and Will's royal wedding on April 29 range from $15-million (U.S.) to $70-million (the latter probably closer to the mark), with the bulk of the costs covered by the Royal Family and the Middletons chipping in.

The ring
Kate wore Princess Diana's engagement ring, an 18-carat oval blue sapphire ring, surrounded by 14 small diamonds. "It's my way of making sure my mother didn't miss out on today," said Will.
Humphries proposed to Kardashian with a 20.5-carat diamond ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz and reportedly valued at $2-million. In the wake of the split, there's media speculation the striking NBA star wants it back, but Kim isn't coughing it up.
The cake
Prince William and his bride Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, ordered an eight-tier cake from Britain's renowned cake maker Fiona Cairns, who reportedly spent five weeks on the creation, which boasts over 900 leaf and floral touches and is topped with the couple's new cipher.
Kardashian's wedding cake – said to be modelled after Kate and Will's classier one – stood taller than the 5-foot-2-inch reality starlet. The six-foot-tall black and white confection came from Los Angeles's Hansen Cakes and reportedly cost a cool $20,000.
The viewers
The royal wedding had a global audience of over 1 billion, with millions on this side of the pond getting up in the middle of the night to take it in live.
E!'s Kim Kardashian wedding special brought in 4.4 million viewers on Sunday night and an additional 4 million Monday night.

The Royals are eight months into married bliss and are still all smiles.
