Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z perform on stage at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, 2013, in Los Angeles.John Shearer/The Associated Press

With their trial run at the Grammys a success, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are apparently planning a full-fledged joint tour.

Mysterious (but surely well-dressed) sources tell Rolling Stone a short jaunt of a dozen or so stadiums is on the cards this summer.

During Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles, Jay-Z hit the stage with Timberlake for Suit & Tie, the pop-icon-turned-actor-turned-crooner's comeback single that features the superstar rapper guesting on a verse.

Of course, a touring collaboration of this magnitude would demand a snappy handle. Let's see: The suave Grammy performance was broadcast in black and white, Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé (whose own Mrs. Carter tour was just announced) introduced the segment wearing an outfit that was split in halves like a dark-and-light cookie, and there is obviously the opposite skin tones of the featured attractions.

The Black & White Tour, then, is a natural. Whatever it is called, it will be the event of the season.
