A year ago, when RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest in Ottawa announced a schedule of 2013 performers that included Rush and B.B. King, the local press hailed a "monster line-up."

And now this.

Lady Gaga, the Mother Monster herself, is set to headline 2014's blues-plus blowout in the capital city. Marking its 20th year, Ottawa Bluesfest announced its first round of performers on Wednesday.

In addition to the Poker Face-singer Gaga, confirmed artists include The Killers, Blake Shelton, Queens of the Stone Age, Lady Antebellum, Snoop Dogg, Tegan and Sara, Barenaked Ladies, Gary Clark Jr., Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Blondie, Tyler, the Creator, Jake Bugg, St. Vincent, Childish Gambino, John Mayall and many, many more.

This year's edition runs July 3-13 at LeBreton Flats Park. Tickets www.frontgatetickets.com become available on-line at 10 a.m., March 27.
