Polaris announces its long list Add to ...

Polaris Music Prize announced the "long list" of albums in contention for the 2009 award. A short list of 10 albums (to be revealed on July 7) will be culled form the list below, with the top Canadian album of the year (records released from June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009) celebrated on Sept. 21.
