"Star Trek" has landed on Bell Media in Canada.

The media company says it has acquired the rights to the new "Star Trek" series, which will begin production in Toronto in September and debut in January.

The first episode will premiere on CTV and the remaining episodes will be televised on Space (in English) and Z (in French).

Episodes will air on the same day they are made available in the U.S. on CBS' streaming service All Access.

The episodes will later stream exclusively on CraveTV.

Bell Media has also licensed all 727 existing episodes of the franchise's TV library, which will air on Space and Cinepop (in French), and also be made available on CraveTV.
