A select viewing guide for Tuesday, March 6
COMEDY Hot in Cleveland CTV, 8:30 p.m. Fortysomething girls just want to have fun in this old-school sitcom from the U.S. cable channel TV Land. Currently in its third season, the show’s premise casts TV veterans Jane Leeves (Frasier), Valerie Bertinelli (One Day at a Time) and Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me) as Joy, Melanie and Victoria, three unattached L.A. doyennes who reboot their lives in Cleveland. The inimitable Betty White lends support as their crusty caretaker Elka. And does love bloom in the city of bowling shirts and bratwurst? In tonight’s episode, Joy makes the mistake of dating one of Victoria’s co-workers, while Melanie hooks up with a seemingly nice guy, unaware that he’s obsessed with her feet.

DRAMA NCIS: Los Angeles CBS, Global, 9 p.m. Still ranking among the most-watched scripted shows on U.S. network television – and holding strong in the Canadian top 10 programs – this crime procedural always doubles up on the ominous factor when the Naval Criminal Investigative service stalwarts interact with another government agency. Tonight, the NCIS squad partners with the NSA (National Security Agency) to located the creator of a software program linked to a cyber attack against the U.S. Department of Defense. At the same time, NCIS hotshot Callen (Chris O’Donnell) uncovers some new, and rather shocking, revelations about his family’s past.
