Theatre 20 has announced the final company member for its upcoming, star-studded production of Company: Sarah Slean.

The theatrical Juno-nominated chanteuse will play the character of Marta, who sings the well-known, fast-paced ditty Another Hundred People in Stephen Sondheim's 1970 musical about a commitment-phobic bachelor named Bobby and his married friends.

Slean, best known as a singer-songwriter but with 11 endorsements for musical theatre on her LinkedIn page, rounds out a previously announced cast that includes such Canadian musical theatre royalty such as Tony winner Brent Carver and Tony nominee Louise Pitre, as well as Nia Vardalos of My Big Fat Greek Wedding fame.

Company, featuring the Stratford Festival's Dan Chameroy as Bobby, will be directed by Chicago's Gary Griffin and runs from June 21 to July 13 at Toronto's Berkeley Street Theatre. More information at www.theatre20.com.

To prepare, here is Slean performing Queen's The Show Must Go On with Toronto's Art of Time Ensemble.
