Graeme Smith
Graeme Smith is a foreign correspondent for The Globe and Mail. Based in Istanbul, he has recently focused on Libya, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, while continuing to roam other parts of the region. He previously served as the Globe's correspondent in Moscow (2005), Kandahar (2006-2009), and Delhi (2010). His work has earned three National Newspaper Awards, a Michener Award, and an Emmy Award. Knopf will publish his book about southern Afghanistan in 2012.
