What does it all mean?

What's it all mean?

Alex Rios, who was originally penciled in as the starting right fielder for tonight's game against the Baltimore Orioles and batting third, has been a late scratch.

In the new lineup, Rios is sitting and Joe Inglett will get his first start since getting recalled from the minors in right field, batting ninth.

Left fielder Adam Lind has been bumped up to bat third.

Rios has played in every game so far this season for the Jays but, like most of the rest of his teammates, has been brutal with the bat during the seven-game losing skid on the road.

Rios has yet to drive in an RBI, hitting just .233 (7-for-30), with a double his only extra-base hit.

On the season Rios is hitting .260 with 21 runs-batted-in and five home runs.

Stay tuned. Gaston will meet with reporters shortly before 5:30.
