Andrew Willis

CIBC World Markets beefed up its foreign exchange team Friday by hiring a pair of Wall Street investment bank veterans.

The investment banking arm of CIBC CM-T landed Christopher Dunning as a managing director and global head of forex options, based in Toronto. He was previously with Uni Credito, and on the currency derivatives team at Merrill Lynch in London.

Eric Ohayon, former head of what’s known as “forex structuring” at Bank of American in London, is joining CIBC as a managing director in currency and commodity structuring. He will also be based at head office, in Toronto.
