Who better to explain the U.S. election to Canada...than a Canadian?

If you're a Canadian living in the U.S., The Globe and Mail wants to hear from you. We're looking for Canadian expats living in the United States to join our coverage of the U.S. election.

Help your fellow Canadians back home understand the election from the ground up, by taking part in online discussions, engaging with our reporters and sharing your viewpoint. We would need a time commitment of only an hour or two a week.

If you're up for joining The Globe and Mail's U.S. election team, please fill out the form below before May 1, 2012. Please be sure to include your phone number and e-mail so our staff can follow-up to let you know if you've been selected.

Update: Thanks to those who applied. Stay tuned for more details.
