December 1 update: Thank you for bearing with us while we make improvements to the reliability of The Globe online. You may have noticed that we have restored the financial markets display to the homepage (a recent Globe Q&A topic) and that site performance has improved. Work continues behind the scenes to restore some of the other features that were disabled in the last few months.
November 26 update: You may have noticed more than a little disruption to our website service recently. In order to ensure a more reliable delivery of service to you from theglobeandmail.com, we are taking steps today to temporarily turn off or remove some features of the site, including disabling the Dashboard feature for Globe Unlimited subscribers.
We will also be removing links from article pages to their respective author profiles and Twitter accounts, and reducing the number of live market data displays on the business portions of the site. You will see fewer 'most popular' lists on the site.
Our focus right now is on making sure that you can read the news. Once we are accomplishing that mission more reliably, most of the features noted above should return to the site.
