Guy-Léonard Tremblay was born on October 10, 1948 and has more than 30 years of experience as an education professional. Mr. Tremblay is an information officer for the Directorate of Communications and Information of a school board. He knows his riding pretty well. He is very active in municipal politics and has been City Councillor for the City of Château-Richer since 1989 (15 years). He is also a member of many intermunicipal boards in his region, was a member of the Optimist Club and was cofounder of the community television of the Côte-de-Beaupré.
Guy-Léonard Tremblay was born, works and lives in his riding. He was born in Baie Saint-Paul (Saint-Antoine Range). His father, Mars Tremblay, was born in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and his mother, Léonie Simard, had roots in the riding. He has three children, Pierre-Louis, Marie-Lisane and Camille-Audrée. He married Jocelyne Bouchard, born in Saint-Joachim (Petite Ferme), whose father Amédée Bouchard was born and raised in “Tourlagnon”, at Baie Saint-Paul.
Mr. Tremblay understands the people of Charlevoix-Montmorency and will represent them in Ottawa. Thanks to his human approach, his deep sense of the family, his interest for others and his simplicity, he is an honest and reliable man.
