· Candidate for the Conseil scolaire de l’Est de l’Ontario in 1997

· Spokesperson for numerous organizations in defence of victims of sexual abuse committed by members of the Church

· National coordinator of the Canadian Healing Circle and pastoral representative of the United Church of Canada.
