· Born in Alma.

· In 2001, administrator of the student co-operative at Collège d’Alma and youth representative to the international francophone forum, Planet’ERE (Education related to the environment) in France

· A convinced pacifist, took part in the organization of marches for peace in the spring of 2003 in the organization “Bleuets pour la paix”

· Interested in politics, became regional coordinator for the Youth Section of the Quebec NDP

· In 2003, founder and spokesperson for the Regroupement pour une Consommation Responsable (RCR)

· Took part in Forum Étudiant at the National Assembly in 2003 and 2004
