· Born in 1981; raised in Plessisville in the region of L’Érable

· In 1997, elected President of the Student Association at the Polyvalente de Victoriaville.

· Since 1997, involved as a volunteer in numerous cultural events, including the Youth Festival and Music Festival in Victoriaville and the Cheese Festival in Warwick

· In 2001, studied law and security

· In 2002, joined the New Democratic Party; in 2003, was elected Vice President of the NDP in Richmond-Arthabaska.
