Erich Jacoby-Hawkins is the Green Party of Canada candidate for Barrie, Ontario. He works as an Internet-correspondence Teacher of English Writing, and taught conversational English in South Korea for 3 years.

Erich serves as Director and Chair of Environmental Action Barrie - Living Green, a local charitable organization. He was the founding member of the Mayor's Taskforce on Affordable Housing in Barrie. Erich is also a volunteer for the Out of the Cold program and a long-time foster parent of children in Haiti.

Erich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Anthropology from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, he served with the University of Waterloo student government, Faculty of Mathematics, and was Editor of a student publication, MathNews.

His hobbies include organic gardening.
