· 1994 to 1997 Mayor of Tilbury North TWPS

· 1998 to 2000 Councillor Town of Lakeshore

· Elected to Essex County council 1991 to 1998; elected Deputy Warden in 1997

· Founding member of the Association française des municipalité d’Ontario; elected Provincial President in 2000 and named Honourary member in 2001

· Former small business owner of traditional woodworking operation

· 3rd generation owner of family farm

· Currently employed at École secondaire Lessor teaching construction and technology to students in Grades 8 to 12

· Spoke person for SOS/Église, group fighting to save two historical churches in Essex County

· Has coached minor sports for 26 years, including soccer and Olympic free style wrestling

· Has four children and lives in Pointe-aux Roches with his wife Linda.
