Steven resides near Markdale with his wife Karen and six children. He has served in numerous leadership roles in business and voluntary organizations.
In 2003 he ran in the provincial election for the Family Coalition Party. As a result he has gained experience and perspective which he brings to the task of reforming Canada's government for a better future.
Work Experience:
Steven spent some years as a licensed life-insurance representative, then in the field of telecommunications, selling and servicing telephone systems.
For the past twelve years Steven has managed a swim school and recreation center.
He also serves as a trustee on the board of Emmanuel Orthodox Presbyterian church, a mission work in Meaford.
Other Interests:
Since 1995 Steven has served on the executive of the Toronto Christian Home Schoolers Association, operating their annual fund raiser and promotional event.
Steven has been involved as an advocate to protect the right of the unborn. He has desired to see family-friendly tax measures implemented in the country, and to see the family strengthened by restoring its autonomy in the areas of education and nurturing and caring for children.
By returning government to its essential task of promoting justice and equal opportunity, Steven trusts Canada will become an environment where individuals assume responsibility and where families can grow and prosper.
