Bill Archer has practiced law in Manitoba since his call to the Bar of Manitoba in June of 1992. He started the Firm of Archer & Phillips Law Office in the City of Thompson Manitoba with his partner in 1993.

Born in Saskatchewan in 1957, he moved, along with his family, to Winnipeg as a young child where he lived until he moved to Thompson, Manitoba to start up his law firm of Archer & Phillips Law Office in 1993.

After graduating from High School in Winnipeg, he attended Winnipeg Bible College for one and a half years in the late 1970’s. In 1988 he was admitted to the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba, and received his Bachelor of Laws degree in the spring of 1991.

He married Bev in December of 1988 and after he articled at Legal Aid Manitoba, Bev and Bill moved to Thompson, Manitoba, in 1993 to start up his law firm. He has lived and practiced law in Thompson since that time.

Bill has three children from a former marriage who are now grown to adulthood and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bill’s hobby and passion is fishing. Living in Northern Manitoba gives him ample opportunity to indulge in his hobby/passion. Bev is employed as the office manager for Archer & Phillips Law Office, and enjoys tending to her garden.
