David Andres was born May 17, 1959, at Norquay, Saskatchewan, to Ben and Luella Andres, the 3rd of 10 children.

David grew up on a farm near Ethelbert, Manitoba, and while he attended school in Ethelbert, he worked for various farmers, at two sawmills, and a garage. After highschool he worked in northern Manitoba for the CNR and then as a mechanic at a garage in Ethelbert.

In July 1978, David married Lori Bewski of Ethelbert. They have been blessed with three boys, Matthew - 12, Graeme - 11, and Daniel - 10, and the family resides on a farm near Ethelbert.

In March 1979, David and Lori started their own business in Ethelbert and have continued to operate Andres Insurance Brokers and a Sears Catalogue Order Office for 25 years.

David has been involved in many community organizations over the years, including the Lions Club for 25 years, Lions District 5M13 Cabinet, Fire Department for 25 years, Ethelbert Homecoming Committee, Ethelbert Recreation Commission, Ethelbert Curling Club, P.C. Riding Association, Official Agent in 2 provincial election campaigns, and Chairman of the Board in his Church.

David and Lori both feel we need strong Christian representation in our Federal Government. MPs should serve with honesty, integrity and fairness.
