· A fire fighter with the city of Portage la Prairie

· A Certified Medical Technician and a Level II fire inspector

· Community work includes being co-chair of the Portage Collegiate Institute Safe Grad committee and a past member of the Portage Community Policing Committee

· A founder and coach of Portage Youth Scrimmage Hockey

· Served as a volunteer for Fire-fighters' Burn Fund, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Children's Wish Foundation and the Portage United Way

· Born, raised and lives in the Portage Lisgar riding

· Married to Bonnie; they have two sons, Kyle and Aaron.
