· Born and raised in Prince Albert

· A member of the faculty at the University of Saskatchewan

· Has three decades of experience working on community development locally and internationally

· Has been a board member of co-ops, schools, women's, Aboriginal and environmental organizations

· Currently completing her PhD in Agriculture and Education at the University of Saskatchewan.
