The Tesla Model X is coming to Toronto.
The all-electric SUV – officially unveiled last September near the company's California factory – will be featured among more than 25 electric, hydrogen and hybrid eco vehicles on display at the Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) in Toronto. It is the first time it will be displayed at any auto show, CIAS officials said in a press release.

The Model X features rear falcon-wing doors, which open upward, and a driver's door that opens on approach and closes when the driver is inside. The 90D version has about a 410-kilometre range on a full charge, while the P90D performance version can go about 400 kilometres. The P90D also features the company's high-speed "ludicrous mode" – which can send the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. It is the third vehicle from Tesla, after the discontinued Roadster and the Model S sedan.

The auto show opens Friday at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and closes on Feb. 21.
