My niece landed the perfect job in a nearby town, but there are 20 kilometres of highway between her house and the school. Her 2007 Jeep Wrangler is steady on the roads, but early morning commutes are dark and the wildlife leaping across the road is unnerving.
She picked the Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs that matched with her model of vehicle. Twenty minutes under the hood, changing the lamps from standard bulbs to a halogen, made an amazing difference. Tools were not required, but we wore gloves to avoid creating hot spots on the glass from oil on our hands, which can greatly reduce the lifespan of the bulb.
The results? A gold star from the teacher.
