Deals of the Week: Lincoln leads the deals, Ford close behind Add to ...

Yesterday, Ford of Canada announced that sales of the Taurus sedan were up an eye-popping 230 per cent last month -- and sales at Ford's Lincoln premium brand were up 110 per cent in March, also.

The latest Ford products are all pretty darn good, but not this good, not 230 per cent better. Therefore, these sales numbers scream "deals, deals, deals."

Meanwhile, the Kia Forte compact car broke the 1,000 sales mark in a single month for the first time ever. And despite an overall slump in SUV sales, the all-new Kia Sorento had a banner month - 751 sold. Of course there are deals there, too.

So Deals of the Week went looking for details. We found rebates that could total $11,000 for some buyers. However, it's worth noting that all the incentives chronicled here can change at any time. In particular, sales sweeteners are often adjusted at the beginning of a new month, as manufacturers and their dealers adapt to marketplace demand or lack of it.

This means buyers should consult their dealer for details. Here's a closer look at these deals, based on numbers sourced from www.carcostcanada.com:
