In photos: 1961 Chrysler New Yorker moonshine running car inside and out
Brian Call's Chrysler New York is not the same as when it rolled off the assembly line in 1961. It has an increased suspension and a retuned engine to pump out way more power. Call's dad was the legendary bootlegger Willie Clay Call, who drove this car through the back roads of North Carolina evading the law while carrying loads of liquor. If you saw the car driving down the street in the 1960s, you'd think it is a regular car. It is anything but.
