RCMP in Fredericton are asking the public for information following thefts from three local businesses earlier this year.

Police say a substantial number of tires and rims were taken from Proactive Collision, Provincial Bandag Tire and Coast Tire between January 24th and February 8th.

The thefts are believed to be linked.

Police say they cost the businesses more than $35,000 in damages and loss.

The Mounties say video surveillance from the businesses show a dark-coloured Ford pickup truck and two males with hoods pulled over their heads.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
