ajac awards

TestFest for the 2013 Canadian Car of the Year Awards event took place in Niagara-on-the-Lake in October, 2012.

Five days, 11 categories, 60 vehicles, more than 80 automotive journalists – including Globe Drive's Bob English, Ted Laturnus, Richard Russell, Michael Bettencourt and Dan Proudfoot – and one collective effort to get it right.

AJAC's annual TestFest roared to life last week as 60 new 2013 models were put through their paces to determine the best new vehicles in 11 categories.

From these 11 category winners, Automotive Journalists Association of Canada members will vote for the 2013 Canadian Car of the Year and the 2013 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year.

The overall winners will be announced Feb. 14 during the media preview day at the Canadian International Auto Show.
