The Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index tracks the overall performance of the commodity futures market. It is based on the settlement prices for 19 physical commodities, including 16 traded on U.S. exchanges and the London Metal Exchange for aluminum, nickel and zinc. Values are updated every 10 seconds.
Energy
These commodities include all materials that are burned or used for heat or power. Futures, which represent contracts to take delivery of goods at a future date, trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Quotes are delayed 10 to 30 minutes and we refresh settlement prices every one minute.
