Looking for a good investing idea? Try our new stock screener Add to ...

Sometimes, all we want is one good investing idea that fits our needs. That's why we developed a simple, intuitive, customizable stock screener for our Globe Unlimited subscribers.

Professional money managers use these to screen stocks according to certain criteria -- such as earnings growth, dividends, cash flow, valuation and margins. Now, you can as well.

You can either pick from four preset stock screens that our Globe Investor columnists have developed. This is where you can find the same criteria that Warren Buffett uses (our Value Investing screen), or figure out the best stocks for a steady flow of income (Dividend Investing), or look for potentially high-growth stocks (Growth Investing), or our Growth at a Reasonable Price screen. You can also adjust the criteria to suit your needs.

Or, if you know what you'd like in an investment and don't see it already, you can build your own screen from scratch. Simply click on Full Criteria list, or start typing in what you're looking for in the Add Criteria box.

The screener will provide you with a list in alphabetical order. You can then re-order the list according to any criteria you prefer by clicking on the down arrow next to the parameter's name.

If you need more detailed instructions, watch our screener how-to video, and learn more in our detailed screener user guide(pdf) or download the full Investor Tools user guide(pdf).

If you'd like to provide feedback on how we can improve this tool, please use the Feedback & Support button at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
