It’s quick and easy to find stocks, funds, ETFs, commodities, currencies and indexes to add to your Watchlist.
Simply start typing what you’re looking for in the search box and you’ll find automatic suggestions.
For instance, if you’re looking for the BMO Junior Oil ETF, you can start typing BMO ETF junior and you’ll find several ETFs that have similar names.
Pick the one you want and then hit Return or the Add to Watchlist button.
If you’re looking for an index or commodity, start typing its name. For example, if you type S&P/TSX financials, several ETFs and the S&P/TSX capped financial index will be suggested. Pick the one you want.
If you type oil, you'll find many companies and ETFs with the word 'oil' in their names, but also Light Sweet Crude Oil, which is the benchmark oil price.
If you want to add multiple tickers to a Watchlist, start typing the names of securities or the tickers. As long as each is separated by a comma, you can hit Add to Watchlist and they’ll all be added at once.
