If you're a Globe Investor Watchlist user on the go and don't want to download our free app, here's another way to access your stocks on mobile:  via our mobile website.

Using your smartphone or tablet web browser, visit our mobile web homepage. Under the index list, click the tab that says: "Track your investments with Watchlist." (Here's a direct link you can add to the bookmarks for your device:  http://m.theglobeandmail.com/globe-investor/my-watchlist/?service=mobile.)

Clicking on that tab will bring up a lighter, faster, stripped-down version of the desktop Watchlist.

You can look at any of your pre-existing Watchlists, as well as create new ones, and you can add multiple stock tickers to your Watchlist by separating them with commas. To remove stocks from a Watchlist, just click on the "Edit" link on the right-hand side.

You can see your stock's price, change and volume in overview, as well as ratio and dividend information. For the stocks and funds you track, you can see a list of headlines of the news articles.

To save space on smaller screens, we've removed some of the categories of your stock overview, and the ratio and dividends screens have also been simplified. For example: price-to-earnings ratio, price-to-book ratio, and market cap appear, but if you want Beta, PEG or debt-to-equity, you'll have to return to your desktop. You also have to use the desktop if you want to alter the number of shares you're holding, or view such deeper data as per-cent performance for YTD or 1-, 3- and 5-year returns.

Any changes you make on mobile or desktop instantly appear on any other devices you're using, so you enjoy seamless access to your Watchlist wherever you are.

We're planning to add many more features in the future. If you have suggestions, send them to globeinvestor@globeandmail.com.
