Research In Motion Ltd. is due to release a new wireless device along with a new operating system, at 11 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday -- a major event for anyone who has been following the ups and downs of the BlackBerry maker ever since Apple Inc. stole the spotlight with its iPhone.

We're providing what details we can here. For now, though, anticipation isn't doing much for RIM. The shares were down 1 per cent with about 10 minutes before the launch. Then again, most technology stocks were also down.
