MONDAY, Nov. 24

Japan markets closed for a holiday.

Germany releases its November Ifo business conditions survey.

Earnings include: Palo Alto Networks; Workday.

TUESDAY, Nov. 25

Germany releases its final reading on real GDP for the third quarter. Italy releases retail sales.

(830 a.m. ET) Canada retail sales for September. The consensus expects a rise of 0.5 per cent, or 0.4 per cent when excluding the autos sector.

(830 a.m. ET) Preliminary U.S. real GDP for the third quarter. Consensus is for an annualized rate of 3.3 per cent.

(9 a.m. ET) S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index for September, forecast to rise 4.6 per cent from a year earlier. Also being released is the FHFA House Price Index.

(10 a.m. ET) U.S. Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. It's expected to come in at 95.8.

Earnings include: Alimentation Couche-Tard; Tecsys; Campbell Soup; Hewlett-Packard; Hormel Foods; Tiffany; TiVo.

WEDNESDAY, Nov. 26

U.K. releases preliminary GDP reading for the third quarter.

(830 a.m ET) U.S. initial claims for last week, forecast to decline 4,000.

(830 a.m. ET) U.S. durable goods orders for October, forecast to drop 0.6 per cent, but rise 0.4 per cent when excluding the transportation sector.

(830 a.m.. ET) U.S. personal income and spending for October, forecast to rise 0.4 per cent and 0.3 per cent, respectively.

(955 a.m. ET) University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment index. Consensus is for a reading of 90.0.

(10 a.m. ET) U.S. new home sales for October, forecast to come in at an annualized rate of 470,000, up 0.6 per cent from September. Pending home sales also due out.

Earnings include: Exco Technologies; Deere & Company; North Atlantic Drilling

THURSDAY, Nov. 27

OPEC meeting in Vienna.

Euro area releases November economic confidence and M3 money supply. Germany releases November unemployment, inflation and consumer confidence numbers. U.K. releases nationwide house prices.

Canada releases current account deficit for the third quarter. It's expected to come in at $10.9-billion, down from $11.9-billion.

U.S. markets closed for Thanksgiving.

Earnings include: Valener.

FRIDAY, Nov. 28

Japan releases October inflation, jobless rate, industrial production, and retail sales numbers.

India and Brazil both release third-quarter GDP numbers.

Euro zone releases inflation and jobless rate numbers. Germany reveals retail sales for October, France consumer spending and producer prices and Italy inflation and jobless rate numbers. U.K. releases confidence confidence numbers.

(830 a.m. ET) Canada's releases real GDP for the third quarter. Consensus is for a 2.1 per cent rise on an annualized basis, down from 3.6 per cent in the second quarter.

(830 a.m. ET) Canada industrial produce price index. Consensus is for a decline of 0.4 per cent.
