MONDAY, June 9
Japan releases GDP for the first quarter, plus consumer confidence and current account balance data.
China tentatively scheduled to release May trade surplus, as well as M2 money supply.
(815 a.m. ET) Canada to release May housing starts for May. The consensus is for 185,000 when annualized, down from April's 195,300.
(840 a.m. ET) Finance Minister Joe Oliver speaks in Montreal.
Earnings include: Casey’s General Stores; Hertz Global Holdings.
TUESDAY, June 10
China releases consumer price index and producer price index for May. BMO forecasts its CPI to rise 2.4 per cent year over year.
France, the U.K. and Italy release industrial production for April and Italy releases GDP for the first quarter.
(10 a.m. ET) U.S. releases wholesale inventories for April, forecast to rise 0.6 per cent.
Earnings include: North American Energy Partners; RadioShack; United Natural Foods.
WEDNESDAY, June 11
U.K. releases its May jobless claims and the jobless rate.
(2 p.m. ET) U.S. releases its budget deficit figures.
Earnings include: H&R Block.
THURSDAY, June 12
Euro area releases industrial production for April and France releases consumer price index. ECB also releases its monthly report.
(830 a.m. ET) Canada releases capacity utilization for the first quarter; consensus is for 82.3 per cent, up from 82.0 per cent in the fourth quarter.
(830 a.m. ET) Canada new housing price index for April. BMO forecasts a rise of 1.6 per cent from a year earlier.
(830 a.m ET) U.S. releases initial jobless claims for last week, forecast to drop to 305,000 from 312,000 the previous week.
(830 a.m ET) U.S. releases retail sales for May. Consensus is for a rise of 0.5 per cent, after gaining 0.1 per cent in April. Ex-autos, sales are expected to rise 0.4 per cent.
(830 a.m ET) U.S. releases import prices for May.
(10 a.m. ET) U.S. releases business inventories for April, forecast by BMO to rise 0.4 per cent.
(1030 a.m. ET) Bank of Canada releases its financial system review, followed by a press conference.

(830 a.m. ET) Canada releases new motor vehicle sales for April, forecast by BMO to rise 3.4 per cent from a year ago.
(830 a.m. ET) U.S. releases producer price index for May. Consensus is for a 2.4 per cent rise from a year ago.
(955 a.m. ET) University of Michigan consumer sentiment index for June. Consensus is for a rise to 83.0 from 81.9 in May.
