The following is a daily rundown of the economic reports and corporate earnings that will be grabbing the market's attention in the week ahead

MONDAY, June 30

Japan will release its industrial production data.

Euro area's CPI data will be released.

Germany will release its retail sales data.

Italy's consumer price index and producer price index will be released.

(8:30 a.m. ET) Canada will be releasing its April GDP report, with the consensus expecting a net expansion of 0.2 per cent.

(10 a.m. ET) U.S. will release its pending home sales data for May, with the consensus expecting a rise of 1.3 per cent.

(1:10 p.m. ET) Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President John Williams speaks.

TUESDAY, July 1

Japan will release its economic Tankan survey for Q2 and manufacturing PMI data.

China's manufacturing PMI data will be released.

Euro Area will release its manufacturing PMI and jobless rate data.

U.K.'s manufacturing PMI data will be released.

Australia's Reserve Bank will have a monetary policy meeting.

Germany's unemployment and jobless rate data will be released.

Italy will release its jobless rate data.

Canada's markets are closed for Canada Day.

U.S. total vehicle sales is tentatively scheduled for release.

(10 a.m. ET) U.S manufacturing ISM data for June will be released, with a PMI consensus expectation of 55.5.

(10 a.m. ET) U.S. construction spending for May, forecast to rise 0.5 per cent.

(10 a.m. ET) IBD/TIPP economic optimism index will be released in the U.S.

Earnings include: A. Schulman Inc., Acuity Brands Inc., Franklin Covey Co., Intellipharmaceutics International Inc. , Paychex Inc, Zep Inc.

WEDNESDAY, July 2

Euro Area will release its producer price index data.

U.K.'s construction PMI and nationwide house prices data will be released.

Canada's auto sales data is tentatively scheduled for release.

(7 a.m. ET) MBA's mortgage application data will be released in the U.S.

(7:30 a.m. ET) Challenger's monthly layoff report will be released in the U.S.

(8:15 a.m. ET) ADP's national employment report in the U.S. will be released.

(9:30 a.m. ET) RBC's manufacturing PMI data will be released in Canada.

(10 a.m. ET) Canada's factory orders data will be released for May, with a consensus of a 0.2 per cent decrease.

(11 a.m. ET) U.S. Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen will speak at the International Monetary Fund.

Earnings include: Constellation Brands Inc., SYNNEX Corp., UniFirst Corp.

THURSDAY, July 3

Japan will release its composite and services PMI data.

Euro area composite PMI, retail sales and manufacturing PMI data will be release.

European Central Bank will hold its monetary policy meeting.

U.K. will release its services and composite PMI data.

China's non-manufacturing PMI and HSBC PMI data will be released.

Australia's retail sales and building approvals data will be released.

(8:30 a.m. ET) Canada's merchandise trade deficit data will be released for May.

(8:30 a.m. ET) U.S. nonfarms payrolls data will be released for June, with the consensus expecting a net 210,000 new jobs and the unemployment rate holding steady at 6.3 per cent.

(830 a.m. ET) U.S. releases jobless claims for last week.

(8:30 a.m. ET) Trade deficit will be released for May in the U.S. Consensus expects $45-billion (U.S.).

(10 a.m. ET) U.S. non-manufacturing ISM data will be released for June. The consensus is for a reading of 56.1.

FRIDAY, July 4

Euro area's retail PMI will be released.

Germany will release its factory orders data.

U.S. markets are closed for Independence Day.
