Canada releases wholesale trade sales for September, forecast to rise 0.3 per cent from August's 0.5 per cent.

U.S. releases retail sales for October, forecast to hold steady month-over-month after declining 0.1 per cent in September. Excluding autos and gasoline, sales are forecast to rise 0.2 per cent after gaining 0.4 per cent in September.

U.S. releases consumer price index for October, forecast to rise 1.0 per cent from a year earlier after gaining 1.2 per cent in September. Excluding food and energy, CPI is expected to hold steady at 1.7 per cent.

U.S. releases existing home sales for October, forecast to fall 2.7 per cent month-over-month after previously declining 1.9 per cent.

U.S. releases jobless claims for last week, forecast to fall to 335,000 from 339,000.

U.S. releases producer price index for October, forecast to rise 0.3 per cent from a year earlier - matching the previous month's gain. Excluding food and energy, the index is expected to rsie 1.3 per cent after gaining 1.2 per cent the previous month.

U.S. releases the Market preliminary Purchasing Managers' Manufacturing Index for November, forecast to come in at 52.3.

Canada releases consumer price index for October, forecast to rise 0.9 per cent from a year earlier after rising 1.1 per cent in September. Core CPI is forecast to drop to 1.2 per cent from 1.3 per cent.

Canada releases retail sales for September, forecast to rise 0.4 per cent month-over-month after rising 0.2 per cent in August. Excluding autos, retail sales are forecast to rise 0.3 per cent after gaining 0.4 per cent in August.
