An analyst since 1971, Mr. Meisels was formerly vice-president and director of technical resarch for Nesbitt Thomson, now BMO Nesbitt Burns. He was ranked among the top three technical analysts by Canadian Institutions for six consecutive years (Brendan Wood Survey).
Mr. Meisels is also founder and first president of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts and past director of the International Federation of Technical Analysts. He created the "Meisels Index," an overbought/oversold indicator based on daily closings.
