For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market, we talked small caps with Steven Palmer, founder chief investment officer with AlphaNorth Asset Management.

Small caps, both in the U.S. and Canada, have underperformed large caps in recent weeks and have been flirting with correction territory - widely defined as a loss of 10 per cent or greater.

That could make for an ideal time to go bargain hunting in the secter, and Steve is going to help us find some of the most attractive candidates.
