For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market Tuesday, we were joined by Swanzy Quarshie, co-manager of the Sentry Energy Growth & Income Fund.
Swanzy revealed her latest views on the oil and gas sector, along with her top stock picks. Her fund has a three-month return of 1.5 per cent up to May 29, beating the S&P/TSX capped energy index return of -0.75 per cent. Its one-year return of -29.3 per cent is in line with the index, but its five-year return of 2.7 per cent far surpasses the index's return of -5.1 per cent.
Swanzy joined Sentry in 2007 and has more than 10 years of financial industry experience. Swanzy graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
