We expect that the period of treading water will end soon. Consolidation should give way to visibly trending markets with a resumption of the overall bullish trend. Investors should be able to look back on the springtime hesitation as the proverbial "pause that refreshes," to be followed by a "summer surprise."
Risk management should continue to be exercised through appropriate stops. We continue to view any weakness in the weeks ahead, provided major support levels are not violated, as the opportunity to add to bullish positions.
